European Championship squad analysis for SKY

UEFA EURO 2024™ is just around the corner and with it the squad nominations for the DFB team. Until a few weeks ago, it looked as if many Dortmund players would be left out in the cold. That has changed. Sky expert Lothar Matthäus names his favorite.

A survey commissioned by Sky and conducted by ONE8Y DB recently revealed that soccer fans in Germany would like to see more BVB players in the German national team squad alongside Niclas Füllkrug. The recent performances in the Champions League in particular have increased the lobby for Dortmund.

Sky expert Lothar Matthäus also believes that national coach Julian Nagelsmann will include more BVB players in the provisional European Championship squad next Thursday than he did against France and the Netherlands.
