Sports marketing agency ONE8Y wins a comprehensive agency pitch at the German Olympic Sports Confederation to open up sport following the easing of restrictions in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Wiesbaden-based agency was able to prevail against various renowned agencies and will now provide the DOSB with holistic support for campaign implementation over the coming months. The coronavirus pandemic has developed into the biggest economic crisis of the post-war period - including a massive social impact on organized and non-organized sport and the health of the population. And this is precisely where the campaign comes in, with a twofold appeal for a “Comeback of the Movement” and a “Comeback of the Community”. Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn is the patron of the campaign.
Hendrik Fischer, CEO of ONE8Y, comments: “We are delighted to have won the pitch and to have the trust of the DOSB in our agency. It is one of the most important tasks for us and from a social perspective to strengthen sport in Germany and its club landscape and to help sport overcome the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic in the best possible way.”
Veronika Rücker, CEO of the DOSB, adds: “In ONE8Y, we have found an agency that ideally meets our requirements with its data-driven approach and communications expertise. The feedback from the member organizations on the campaign reinforces our decision and now it is a matter of jointly and comprehensively conveying the messages of the comeback of sport.” Further information on the campaign can be found atwww.come-back.fit
